Keafolly is an illustrator with a bachelor degree of Fine Arts from Massey University, 2015. Since graduation she has worked as graphic designer, working on internal publications and communications. She is currently a freelance pet portraiture artist, working with both watercolour and colour pencil illustrations to meet her clients needs. 

Kea created her Big Witch Little Witch comic while homeschooling her child in the 2020 Covid Lock down and has been developing it since, launching it on her instagram and later her patreon.
